about

Originally made up of 2 songs recorded by my progressive rock band in 1980, this is a fresh take of them merged into one song and what I wish they would have sounded like all along.

lyrics

From the peaks of Delph
To the depths of Squire
The course we lead is ever clearer
I now can see to the Seven Realms
Where the wizards rule the clouds

Dream of darkly shrouded spires
I’m tangled in the mire
A distant drum

Attracts me to her walls
I reach the bridge and fall
Upon my knees

The grey castle stares at me
Through dimming eyes
A symbol of forgotten power
The tall and darkened tower
Tears at me

What lies beyond the door
And down the corridor
I cannot see what lies beyond...

Why anyone would want
To unearth the ancient secrets
of time?

An eagle can’t control his flight
And unicorns can’t choose their path
The wizards rule the course of day
But Sorcerers rule the night!
